help:敲门：knock at和knok on

我记得“敲（门、窗）”的短语是knock at：Listen! Somone is knocking at the window!可为什么下面这句用的是konck on？
Always knock on the door before you enter.
这里可以用knock at吗？

不明白，请指教~

但是遇到door一般都是on
你就记是固定用法吧，一般都是a knock on the door （一阵敲门声）

老妖，我这里有一句句子是用knock at的
Someone is knocking at the door. 有人在敲门。
这里为什么不用on呢？

由上可见，基本是通用的。at用的比较多。on更多的用于British English.

我认为如果一个常用at的人，用on,表示他很强调需要敲门。

用on更侧重于被敲击的对象吧。
