Job Requirements

Ÿ            Minimum 1-2 years test experience

Ÿ            Bachelors' degree in Computer Science preferred.

Ÿ            Strong communication skills are a must both in speaking and writing in English and Japanese.   

Ÿ            Strong Japanese reading and writing skill

Ÿ            Proven ability to design and implement complex technical solutions, applying insights from unrelated areas to new situations.

Ÿ            Proven familiarity of test methodology, setting direction for product testing either in fact or by example.

Ÿ            Experience with writing automated tests a plus.

Ÿ            Experience in UI and usability testing.

Ÿ            Ability to serve as a mentor, leader, and resource for others within and across Expedia teams

Ÿ            Proficient in programming concepts and web technologies (ASP.NET, VB.NET, C# and Scripting).

Ÿ            Solid understanding of object oriented programming. Coding skills in (C# or C++) or equivalent

Ÿ            Strong knowledge of SQL.

Ÿ            Ability to understand business requirements and translate functional

Ÿ            requirements/specifications into working test plan and/or test cases as required.

Ÿ            Ability to read and understand data models and relational databases.

Ÿ            Ability to prioritize and work independently to achieve goals.
