前阵子在看CCTV6的一个节目时，无意听到了这首歌，第二天便下了细细品觉。这首来自travis的金曲，第一次听便深深触动了我。没有狂躁的节奏也没有华丽的编曲结构，从入唱到副歌一气呵成，犹如涓涓溪流般的丝丝暖意不断涌入心田。结识travis还是在学校时候看live8时，在众多大牌云集的盛宴travis给我留下了极深的印象。可能当年精力还比较旺盛，比较致力于一些打铁人锻造的曲子，对如此温馨的曲风还一时难以接受。时间渐渐游走，brit-pop在我心中占据了越来越重要的地位，喜欢它的散漫，却不是美式音乐的颓废，喜欢它平实的曲风和成员邻家般的造型，不同与北欧众的华丽与几近博物馆珍藏系列的夸张服饰和诡异装扮，喜欢它那不经意间的感动，喜欢那叙事般平常却让人感慨万千的谱词。在不属于自己的城市，travis和我融入了side的世界，没有了喧嚣，没有了孤寂，仿佛自己的故事有人分享 ，藏在心底的想法有人认同，仿佛通向未来的路瞬间踏实了许多，少了几许彷徨，脸上又重新浮起了期待的笑容。 私は一人じゃない 。
“ That the grass is always greener on the other side，The neighbours got a new car that you wanna drive，And when time is running out you wanna stay alive。”人们总是在给自己的所谓不如意找尽各种理由，却忘了我们生在这个世界上就要懂得感恩。人们总在互相羡慕着，却在虚荣和追捧中迷失了自我。人们总在抱怨自己的种种不如意，却从不审视自己到底做了多少努力付出了多少。我从小就不明白为什么这么简单的道理，人们总是在教导别人时说的头头是道，换做自己时就开始了借口诸多。责人太严，责己太宽。为什么总是一副道貌岸然，满口伦理道德，私下则处处行驶人作为动物的本性。无须我再多赞扬这种词添的多么棒，“We all live under the same sky，We all will live, we all will die。”为什么总是在一些无聊的小事中大吵大闹，为什么总是为了微财薄利变分道扬镳。就算争到了，吵赢了又有何意义。“There is no wrong, there is no right，The circle only has one side”还在执念对错的我们，不如静下心来翻翻祖先数前年走过的路子，几多轮回。这首歌给了我太多的触动，一直相信好的音乐是有灵魂的，伴我上路的良师益友，心存感激。
