A: Time to spend: It is not so much different with NRI.
B: Search Quality:
(Merit)
It can be searchedthe Gazette of 37 Patent Databases covered patents information of all over the world .
It can be on-line search that so quickly it can get the result by the imagination software and also point-click interface to make search easy.
It can be searchedthe patent information from about 1950 or later.
(2) Dialog
A: Time to spend: the response of search is not so fast compare with NRI and Questel·Orbit.
B: Search Quality:
1. Merit
It can be searchedthe title and abstract of some patent data sources i.e. WPI, JAPIO, CLAIMS(R)/US Patent, covered all patents information of the world.
2. Demerit
The interface of Dialog web is not so good because it is not easy to be accustomed to the operation for search. Rich experience of the operation of Dialog web is needed.
(3) NRI
A: Time to spend: It is not so much different with Questel·Orbitel but much
better than DIALOG because NRI has good GUI that makes operation of search easy.
B: Search Quality:
1. Merit
The graphical user interface of NRI web is so good that it is so easy to be accustomed to the operation for search. Rich experience of the operation of NRI web is not needed. The speed of downloading data of full text and drawings is fastest in compare with Questel·Orbit and Dialog. Then, it is not so difficult to find related art to the invention.
It can be searchedthe title and abstract of some patent data sources i.e. WPI, JAPIO, CLAIMS(R)/US Patent, covered all patents information of the world through Derwent Family of International Patent Searching Database.
2. Demerit
The patent information from 1992 is available for Japanese patent information.
