Position: Service Engineer (supporting North Asia)
Report to: Head of North Asia


Responsibilities:
The goal of this position is to satisfy customer requirements by providing professional tendering support whilst meeting company targets so as to develop long term working relationships within and outside of the company.
·
Supporting the Sales Team in launching projects on time and in a professional manner.
·
Evaluating customer requirements to ensure company Pumps can product a pump that will satisfy customers’ needs with the help of advance engineering, purchasing and commercial management.
·
Reviewing customers’ Requests for Quotation, drawings and specifications as required.
·
Assisting sales and customers in selection of proper pump hydraulic performance to satisfy requirements.
·
Obtaining necessary pricing or data to tender from product manual or appropriate manufacturing locations.
·
Obtaining quotes from suppliers as required and internally from manufacturing factories.
·
Preparing and controlling tenders for new business projects.
·
Establishing or obtaining lead-time estimates from relevant manufacturing plants with the help of company regulations and tools.
·
Ensuring clean and efficient hand over from sales to project management.
·
Regularly updating sales databases.

Requirements:
·
Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
·
Experience in tendering and negotiation of contracts.
·
Ideally 5 years and above pump and application knowledge, HPI solution experience is a Must.
·
Good written ad verbal communication skills.
·
Fluent in Japanese, working English
·
Responsive and commercial awareness.
·
Confident and assertiveness.
