以下是个人意见供参考。
中文中的年假，个人理解和个人，公司关系较大，和国家以及社会的法定假日有区别。根据此去查字典：
根据字典的解释，见最下，可见：
leave比较侧重于请假。
holiday的意思比较宽泛，而且兼有法定假日的意思。感觉在此处可用，但是不是很明确。
vacation从字典上来看可用说通，但是据说用来指比较长的假期。我个人认为国内公司基本上不存在有这种vacation，外企也许有。
个人认为，最贴切意思看上下文，以及具体的语言环境，另外英美语言习惯也有差异。比如美国人很喜欢用vacation.
综上，我认为对国内而言，leave->vacation->holiday

准假：能够离开工作或职责的正式许可，如给予军事或公司职员的
holiday

假日：人们可不工作而享受闲暇的日子；休假
vacation

休假，假期：专用于娱乐、休息或放松的时间，尤指职员的有薪度假
