• Minimum of 5 years administration experience with Windows
and Solaris Operating Systems.

• Minimum of 3 years administration experience with Symantec
NetBackup

-Installing and configuring NetBackup clients and agents

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

The Global Data team has an open position for a Global
Data Protection Administrator located in Amersham. The Data Protection Administrator’s role is to maintain a stable, predictable, and scalable backup and recovery environment for the delivery of I.T. solutions.

• Work directly with the global Data Protection lead and establish operating mechanism for weekly communication, strategy, and problem & resolution management.

• Provide operational project level management in the planning, design, and implementation for hardware/software lease refreshes, migrations and new site acquisitions of data protection systems.

• Initiate direct and global communication with a wide range of client, supplier, regulatory, application, architectural, and systems personnel.
