Basic Instinct



Some people say that the highline of this movie is its sex scenes. As for me, only in the beginning. Having got accustomed to Japanese AV movies, I don’t even feel anything.
After seeing the movie, you might start thinking who is the murderer? The movie itself doesn't give us a straight answer. It's up to you to figure it out and you can guess all you want. If it is Catherine, then she’s a real gifted killer.

Overview
Main Actors:

Michael Douglas…Det. Nick Curran
"shooter”. He thinks his girlfriend’s innocent and imagines to “fuck like minks, raise rug rats and live happily ever after”.


Sharon Stone...Catherine Tramell
Well, I must say I really love her luscious breasts and juicy pussy. She plays with people’s mind by using her beauty and her sex appeal.


You may not like her due to her hostile “karma” remark over China’s earthquake.
Here's her remarks:
"I'm not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the T***tans because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else. And then this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and then I thought, is that karma? When you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?"
A week later, she apologized. The 50-year-old actress said she was "deeply sorry" for causing anguish and anger among Chinese people with her remarks in an interview last week. Stone models for Christian Dior SA, and the company's Shanghai office issued the statement.
And here's her apology:
"Due to my inappropriate words and acts during the interview, I feel deeply sorry and sad about hurting Chinese people," Stone said in the statement. "I am willing to take part in the relief work of China's earthquake, and wholly devote myself to helping affected Chinese people."
Is her apology sincere? from heart? I very much doubt that. Despite her mean remark against China, I still appreciate her performance in the movie, especially the way she speaks English.

98年，我大一的时候，有一次学校公开放这个电影。我们寝室里当时住了10个男生，在电影院里不约而同地都凑齐了。但是电影刚放到一半就被切了，换别的了，大家都很不满。后来回到寝室，熄灯后大家展开大讨论，我睡着了又被吵醒了。第一次看的确是印象深刻。

Movie synopsis(摘要，梗概):
Linda Hanson (SANDRA BULLOCK) has a beautiful house, a loving husband and two adorable(可爱的) daughters. Her life is perfect, until the day she receives the devastating(令人震惊的) news that her husband Jim (Julian McMahon) has died in a car accident. For this devoted(投入的) wife and mother(贤妻良母), it's the worst she could imagine. But did she imagine it? When Linda wakes up the following morning, her husband is very much alive.

At first, Linda believes the accident must have been a nightmare. Then it happens again; some days Linda awakens to find Jim is next to her alive and well, while on others she awakens a widow. Inexplicably(令人费解地), she is living the days of her life out of order.

Linda's traumatizing(令人痛苦而难忘的) premonition sets off a series of puzzling, time-altering events. Her world is turned upside down as the surreal(不现实的，梦幻的) circumstances lead her to discover that her perfect life may not have been all that it appeared. But the next day morning, she finds her husband is still alive and is drinking coffee in the kitchen.




The third day morning, when she walks down the stairs, she finds that all her relatives and friends are already waiting there. They tell her they are about to attend Jim’s funeral.



The fourth day morning, she’s awakened by shower noise. It’s Jim. He’s alive.

Soon she figures out that the days she came through recently are completely out of order. After a lot of analysis she comes to know her husband’s gonna die on Wednesday.



Linda makes up her mind to save her husband’s life. But after further investigation, she finds out Jim’s affair with Claire. Save Jim? Don’t save Jim? She gets really confused and don’t know what to do.
What’s her final choice? Well, after seeing the movie, you will have your answer.
