strong
He was strong enough to carry that rock.
A;Excuse me, may you tell me what does “strong mouth” mean?
B: well, it depends on the context.
A: if it is to describe a people’s look like?
B: well, we don’t use this to describe a people’s look like. In fact “strong “and “mouth” shouldn’t be together, we rarely say this. We only say somebody got a very strong personality or strong will. Well, I guess that should be a people who got a very loud voice. Or if quarrel with somebody, you say “strong mouth”, you may criticizing he is really good at quarrelling.
鉴于他说了“we rarely say this。”
A: Hi, excuse me, may I know what does “strong mouth” mean?
B: well, somebody who got a loud voice?
A:Do you guys always say this in American?
B: well, in fact, no.
A: yeah, just now XXXXX(偶英籍上司的名字) told me they also rarely use this in British, so I thought maybe that is American English.
B: lol ~~~~~~~~~~~
A: well, do you think it may mean “big mouth” or something?
B: no. (一下就把偶的论点给推翻了,晕~~~~~~),we always say big mouth, but barely use “ strong mouth”. “Big mouth” is mean somebody can not keep secret.
A: you mean gossip?
B: lol~~~~~~~(他很爱狂笑DI~~~~~~~~)
A:Ok, anyway, may it possibly mean “a clear-cut mouth”?
B: I don’t think so.
