The SGBU Services and TCE organization is chartered with delivering industry leading customer support and value-added services to optimize the Total Customer Experience for our HP software (HP OpenView ) customers. SGBU Services and TCE is laser focused on achieving this primary mission.
Within the SGBU Services and TCE organization, the Global Services Delivery (GSD) has dedicated software support professionals responsible for the support delivery value chain. Our primary goal is to ensure HP delivers against the expectations customers have, relative to the foundation support services they have purchased (post sales technical support). The ultimate measure of success of GSD is our ability to deliver industry leading customer satisfaction, with industry leading employee satisfaction, at best-in-class cost structures.
This position is to join the SGBU-Services GSD team working with customers across in Japan and Asia Pacific.
Responsibilities:
* To achieve industry leading customer satisfaction and loyalty through delivery of high level technical support to HP OpenView customers.
* Perform problem recreation and determination on complex issues; Perform assessment with diagnostic information in a timely manner with client/server applications
* Perform enhancement verification and release testing for assigned products; Understanding of technology; Knowledge of Enterprise or Server Application Deployment Solutions.
* Take ownership of customer issues, understand their environment and the issues impact, then develop, document and deliver timely and effective solutions that maximize customer's investment. Where appropriate engage HP's local and worldwide resources to assist in issue resolution.
* Facilitate the success of other parts of HP through collaborative problem solving, knowledge sharing, mentoring and proactive activities.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree education level (Computer System or Japanese preferred).
* Experience of technical support and customer communication.
* Documenting knowledge for sharing with customers.
* Fluent Japanese for customer communication in speaking and writing.
* English skill for internal communication.
* Troubleshooting skill to solve problems and/or identify, verify and document problems.
* Deliver effective information to the customers via the telephone, e-mail, and/or web.
* Knowledge of server platform such as Windows 2003 or UNIX.
* Extended hour support participation (after hour, weekends, and holidays).
* Ability and desire to effectively interact with people.
* Having strong mindset of customer first and productivity improvement.
Preferable Qualifications:
* Possess strong team leadership skill and escalation management experience.
* Communication in Korea or Cantonese.
* Japanese customer support experience.
* Knowledge of Networking, Database (Oracle or SQL), or internet services technologies (JAVA XML)
* Knowledge of HP OpenView products.
