Maria 和 John是大学同学，经过大学4年的相知相识后两人终于相爱，并且走上了神圣的婚礼教堂。
由于美国正处在战争纷乱的时期，为了保卫自己的国家，两人结婚不久，John便参军了，但两人之间一直保持着书信，不幸的一天终于来到了，Maria接到了John战死了消息，伤心的痛哭不止。。。
随着时间的流逝，渐渐忘记了曾经和John要彼此相爱一辈子的誓言，BiLi的出现，让Maria重新看到了生活的曙光，在BiLi的细心照料下，Maria再次把自己的终身幸福托付给了这个男人。
没有想到的是John并没有战死，而是侥幸的生存了下来，当他满怀欣喜走到家门口准备给自己的爱妻一个惊喜时，展现在他眼前的却是Maria抱着与BiLi生的小孩，幸福的依靠在BiLi怀里的景象，只能让他心痛不以。。。
John and Maria study at the same university. After 4years past by, they fell in love with each other, and they was getting marry in a holy church. However there love and sweet time was short, John had to attend to the Army forces due to the war. John and Maria keep contacting by the mail. Unfortunately, Maria received a note that John has died from the war and she was so sad.
Time passing by, Maria started to forget her vow with John. At the mean time, Bill was appeared and give a new hope for her. Billy was care of her so much, and Maria though she could take rest of her life with him.
John was luckily alive, he did not die from the war. He wanted to give a surprise to his lovely wife, Maria. When he walked by the door, he saw Maria has a new life. She married with Bill and had a child already. Maria had a new warm family, John was so upset and painful. |
